The finest full grain leather is handpicked for each Collegiate Dressage Saddle. To give the best depth of color, and a high quality finish, the saddle is hand stained with a brush. Once the stain is dry, more oil is added, and a mixture of oil, tallow, and bees wax gives extra richness and protection.

Characteristics of the Collegiate Dressage Saddle include a comfortable supportive seat, and very straight padded flaps. Panel stuffing is kept to a minimum to allow closer contact with the horse. Knee rolls are padded and some styles may be adjustable. Most billets are very long, with an adjustable Y girthing system.
