Collegiate Jessica
The Collegiate Jessica Dressage Saddle has the characteristic supportive seat. This saddle seems to favor a more slender rider, and the fit is better for a smaller horse. Riders have complained about the hard panels restricting the horse’s movements. However, the Jessica rides like a more expensive saddle. The leather is soft and the saddle wears nicely. It has medium to large knee blocks. One thing to watch if you are buying a used Jessica is the wool flocking. Take it to a saddler so that he can check it doesn't need restuffing. The one thing the Jessica doesn't have is the CAIR system which is a shame but the price reflects that. Overall the Collegiate Jessica is a lot of saddle for not a lot of money (relatively speaking!)
