Podkhajsky Dressage Saddles

The Ideal Podhajsky Dressage saddle has an illustrious history. It was originally designed over 20 years ago as a result of a meeting with Alfred Adams, Col. Alois Podhajsky and the then director of the Spanish Riding School before the design was purchased by Ideal.

The Podhajsky saddle has been used throughout the Spanish Riding School in training and working with the Lipizzaner horses. Interestingly the Podhajsky dressage saddle uses normal length girth straps such as those used in GP saddles, this is because Col. Podhajsky felt that it was kinder and more comfortable for the horse.
