The CAIR Panel System

The CAIR Panel System is an air filled panel. It was developed in 2000 by Wintec/Bates of Australia as an alternative to the traditional flocking in saddles.  Traditional wool flocking often becomes compacted thus restricting the horses in their movements and often causing damage through pressure points. Air being a fluid medium helps to evenly distribute the rider’s weight across the length of the panel. CAIR offers excellent comfort for the horse as it conforms to the horse's movements and posture.

The CAIR Panel System is basically a system whereby inserts of different dimensions can be added to the saddle panel above the CAIR Air Panels. This means that the depth of the saddle panel can be increased to give the rider additional height without altering the saddle's performance and the Air Panels stay in close contact with the horse's back.
